Kobatake Yukinori

Kobatake Yukinori is from Chiba Prefecture, Japan. He is a cellist in the NHK Symphony Orchestra. Kobatake graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts and completed its Graduate School of Music master’s course. He has studied with Kanaki Hiroyuki, Mase Toshio, Kanda Masaharu, Yamazaki Nobuko and Fujimori Ryoichi. He took master classes from W. Boettcher, P. Dumange and D. Geringas. Kobatake participated in the Chigiana International Musical Academy and the Ozawa International Chamber Music Academy. He has performed in many concerts, such as JT Ensemble Development Series and JT Affinis Ensemble Selection Special Concert. Kobatake is also active in a wide range of activities including solo performances in chamber music concerts and recordings. He is a member of ENSEMBLE FOVE, and of Olive Tree String Quartet.
