Miyazaki Yoko

Miyazaki Yoko is from Oita Prefecture, Japan. She graduated from Tokyo College of Music Instrumental Department, and then graduated with honors from the piano duo department of the graduate school of Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart. Miyazaki received the German National Performer Qualification with the highest grade. She won the Bruno Frei Music Prize (top prize) from the Bruno Frei Foundation in Germany. Miyazaki made her CD debut as a piano duo in Germany. She was a finalist at the Almere International Chamber Music Competition in the Netherlands. Miyazaki received the Special Jury Arts Prize in the chamber music category at the Brahms International Competition, and  Silver Prize in the solo artist category at the 25th International Chopin Piano Competition in Asia in 2024. She performs in a wide range of venues, from full-fledged classical concerts to school performances, appears at various events, and collaborates with artists of other genres. Miyazaki also teaches younger generations. She is teaching part-time in the Elementary Education Department at Beppu University Junior College.
